I'm working as sole lead product designer with a small team of engineers, and c-suite on a new product launch in 2023. I oversee all 0-1 design of the product.

SPLIT SOFTWARE • DESIGNER MANAGER
As a Design Manager work with a small product design team, directly reporting to the VP of Product. I split my time between managerial duties and product design.
Key duties:
• Coaching and mentoring product designers. Providing feedback to help with design decisions and execution
• Building processes as guard rails for our team
• Keeping the team updated with latest design software (recent migration to Figma).
• Still getting my hands dirty - working on end-to-end design work to ship various new features in the Split app
• Leading Product Design team bi-weekly one on ones
• Meeting with Engineering and the Product Management team to ensure the Product Design team is meeting their needs, and work with both teams to fine-tune areas where there is drop off
• Working with recruiting to search for new full-time product design talent, vetting candidates, performing interviews, portfolio reviews, and design challenges
• Leading efforts in partnership with a contracting agency to find contract product designers
• Writing product design onboarding documentation for our new contract product designers
• Leading design critiques
• Helping build our design system and component library in Figma, in partnership with Engineering
• Working with recruiting to vet and hire new design talent

TWILIO • STAFF PRODUCT DESIGNER
I'm a Staff Product Designer on the Technical Intelligence team building products that we use in-house at Twilio, and experimental products. I also fill in on the Account Security team on products like Authy mobile and desktop application, Verify, Console and more. I perform end-to-end design work – UX research, writing, competitive analysis, customer interviews, user flows, usability testing, information architecture, prototyping and visual design.
